Software developer (80-100%)

Responsibilities
  • Create and develop software solutions to extend and improve Battrion’s operations and R&D (e.g. manufacturing, process monitoring, sensors, basic web interfaces for operators)
  • Manage source code, development and deployment
  • Manage contributions from other developers (external and internal)
  • Keep track of internal bug reports and management of technical debt
  • Development of basic data analysis routines (manufacturing data, battery test data)
Requirements
  • Advanced programming skills (Python required, JS, C++ favorable)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German favorable, but not required)
  • 3+ years track record
  • You want to use your multi-discipline skills to contribute to the development of future battery technology

Development Engineer Hardware (80-100%)

Responsibilities
  • Create and develop hardware solutions to extend and improve Battrion’s operations and R&D (e.g. manufacturing, process monitoring, sensors)
  • Support our process development team in solving manufacturing issues
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve and simplify our manufacturing processes
  • Manage and execute internal development projects and experimentation
Requirements
  • Experience in agile product development and rapid prototyping)
  • Advanced electronics and mechanical engineering skills
  • Basic programming skills (favorably Python and/or C++)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German (B2) for supplier interaction)
  • Engineering degree (FH, ETH/EPFL) with work experience
  • You have a Hacker mentality
  • You understand both fast prototyping as well as high-quality engineering solution
  • You want to use your multi-discipline skills to contribute to the development of future battery technology

Senior Production Manager (100%)

Responsibilities
  • Execute and optimize manufacturing process for electrode fabrication for lithium ion batteries
  • Develop new processes together with engineers and scientists
  • Manage technicians and cleaning staff of production team
  • Organize production schedules and resources
  • Ensure that quality is monitored and meets defined standards
  • Organize the routine cleaning, maintenance and repair of production equipment
  • Work with safety officer to ensure that health and safety regulations are met
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, marketing and sales staff
  • Manage material supply chain
Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of direct experience in managing production activities, preferably (but not restricted to) in any of the following fields: Battery manufacturing, coating, print or paper, converting industry (roll-to-roll), chemical manufacturing, food manufacturing and processing
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German favorable, but not required)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new requirements, machines and processes
  • Rigorous commitment to improve processes and meet quality standards
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage high performance teams
