    Senior Hardware Engineer

    • Lead development of key component (design, manufacturing, assembly, testing)
    • Lead contract engineering company and coordinate suppliers
    • Contribute to concept development and major design decisions
    • Independently propose, develop, and test functional prototypes
    • Evaluate and select suitable manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC milling vs. sheet-metal)
    • Create technical specifications and evaluate propositions (e.g. assembly process, tooling)
    • Create and review CAD drawings and manufacturing documents
    • Create calculations and simulations where necessary (e.g. static load analysis)
    • Lead regular progress meetings, prepare technical summary for management
    Required Qualifications
    • Excellent communication in English (written, verbal)
    • Engineering degree in relevant field, e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Industrial engineering (FH, university, or equivalent)
    • 3+ years’ work experience, ideally in a similar role
    • Experience in the full cycle of new product development projects
    • Proficiency in one modern CAD system (Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent)
    • Experience in agile product development and rapid prototyping
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Successful track record leading product/process/equipment development projects
    • Experience in design for manufacturability and manufacturing process design
    • Interdisciplinary engineering skills (e.g. electronics, software, materials)
    • Capable to create calculations/simulations in modern environment (e.g. Python or Mathematica)
    • Basic programming skills (Python, C++, or equivalent)
    • German (B2) skills for supplier interaction

    Process Engineer

    • Develop and expand electrode manufacturing processes (mixing, coating, drying, pressing)
    • Improve process robustness and establish controls for critical parameters
    • Support production staff with manufacturing instructions and standard operation procedures
    • Solve manufacturing issues
    • Manage and execute internal (and support external) development projects
    Required Qualifications
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Engineering degree e.g. process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering
    • 3+ years of process engineering or development experience
    • Basic programming skills in any programming language
    • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
    • Good proficiency in data analysis / interpretation / visualization
    Preferred Qualifactions
    • Strong process engineering experience in a production environment
    • Experience in scaling a process for industrialization
    • Experience with one or more of: roll-to-roll processes (e.g. print or paper processing, coating processes), calendering, battery manufacturing, industrial chemical processing, drying processes
    • Highly proficient in data analysis / interpretation / visualization
    • Good proficiency in Python / Jupyter Notebooks
    • German B2
